Overview:

The Regional Account Manager will be the quarterback for our sales efforts in your designated region, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and growing existing accounts. Your success hinges on building strong relationships with our current distributors and identifying new business opportunities, understand their needs, and present solutions that drive value and grow the business. Collaboration is key. You will work hand-in-hand with clients and internal teams to identify new business opportunities, ensure successful project completion, and drive ongoing growth within your designated region. In addition, a proactive approach is essential. You'll build a robust sales pipeline, identify new business opportunities, and skillfully close deals to achieve and surpass sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently perform at or above sales goals revenue each quarter.
  • Prospect for new dealers and new business effectively by using leads and available tools.
  • Respond to all sales leads and inquiries with timeliness and purpose to effect closing of the sale.
  • Acquire and maintain proficiency in technical aspects of the product line and acquire the ability to explain and demonstrate products on demand
  • Facilitate sales by engaging end users and partners with product information needs making sure product is understood. Training of partners and customers is a constant requirement of all Suncor Stainless sales personnel.
  • Provide dealer training at every opportunity via phone and web.
  • Produce accurate quotes and process active projects through completion. 100% accuracy required at all phases.
  • Consistently track opportunities and update sales pipeline in CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on projects, which includes participation in customer events and trade shows.
  • Process all orders accurately and timely.
  • Contact all leads provided and follow up according to guidelines. 100% follow up required.
  • Other sales related activities as required.
  • Work in tandem with outside sales groups.

Qualifications:

  • Some College; BA/BS preferred or equivalent of 5 years direct related job experience.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive sales experience, Industrial, Marine, or Rigging experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with and previous experience with consultative selling methodologies.
  • Experience selling industrial, marine, or machined products direct and through the channel very desirable. Rigging experience preferred.
  • Strategic, high energy professional with a results-oriented track record of sales above quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sales processes and projects simultaneously.
  • Capable of handling sales prospecting within a multi-state territory.
  • An understanding of technical drawings and construction assembly.
  • Comfortable interacting with multiple decision makers at all levels of an organization simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Ability to present technical information from a sales perspective.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and CRM program experience.
  • Business Development and prospecting for new opportunities.
